This Thursday 13 is about the man I have fallen in love with

1. Even though it must have been terribly difficult, he took a chance with me and told me something he was not proud of, something that does not shed a positive light on him & something that he knew was going to change the course of our relationship. He was open and honest about this very early in our relationship, and I love him for that.

2. Our trip to Tennessee. To me it showed trust, spontaneity & the willingness to not only welcome me into his life, but his eagerness to show me things that are important to him. We took this trip one month into our relationship.

3. He has never shied away from talking about the future. From day one he has been proud that I would be apart of it. I love him for looking forward WITH me.

4. My daughter adores him. She sees him several times a week for lunch. They chat and kid around. I think he is pretty smitten with her, too.

5. Beau has a great sense of humor. That always been attractive to me. He can easily make me laugh, even when I don’t want to, and I love him for that.

6. He is a hard worker. Besides him being handsome physically, the fact that he is hardworking & is proud to do a good job makes him irresistible.

7. I love how he is patient with me and all my baggage. Between the two of us, we have more issues than Playboy but each one adds dynamic to our relationship and he handles each one with grace.

8. Early on in our relationship we had some hard choices to make. He has been understanding and respectful of my ideas & he supports my decisions in all things. I know that he is on my side.

9. His Daughters Alexia & Eva Mae. Between the two of us we have the 4 most awesome things in the world! (really wish I had a pic of the 4 of them together right now)

10. He gets passionate about pool. He is really good at it and I have a good time watching him. There is nothing sexier than a man doing something he is passionate about.

11. I have known Beau for nearly 2 decades. During that time he has been faithful and loyal to his friends and family. In the time that I have known him he has been able to hold on to the many friendships he has made and does what he can to show

12. Beau is open and emotionally available to me. This, to me, is necessary and non-negotiable for a happy, healthy relationship. Somethings cannot be taught

13. I learn new parts of him all the time.Beau  is dynamic in a way that is interesting and new to me everyday. I look forward to growing & learning with him and taking full advantage of the chance we have been given.
