Things I Could Have Done Without This Week
1. The same old hassles from my ex-husband. I’m tired of these every week, but this week he has been especially childish.
2. I have no patience for traffic, but in the past week I have made two trips to Orlando (60 miles). Both trips were for pleasure and I thoroughly enjoyed both of them, it’s just the fact that I must share the road with others who obviously have not been taught driving etiquette.
3. The NBA Finals. Magic… Lakers… who gives a crap??? I abhor Pro sports and the only game I can sit through in its entirety is the Super Bowl… but who doesn’t like the Super Bowl???
4. The 2 phone trees I had to endure. Doesn’t anyone answer phones anymore? And why would I want to receive this ‘tree’ in any language other than English. Yeah, I do live in Florida, but I seriously doubt the agencies I called knew that beforehand. AND foreigners have not COMPLETELY taken over my state yet.
5. Stress about this months number birthdays. June is a very busy month for our family. 6 birthdays AND Father’s Day. By the time my birthday rolls around at the end of the month, I am so glad it’s over I’m happy to not make any plans for my birthday… Just a day off, please!
6. The allergy attack I had on Saturday night. I could have used more than 3 hours sleep before canoeing the next day.
7. The slow realization that my dog may remain at 98% housebroken. She may be retarded
I guess it’s better than 2%.
8. My printer has issues that may be emotional. I do not call upon it to do work a whole lot, but when I do i expect that it will rise to the occasion and print my documents without the need to be coaxed.
9. Attorney bills. Not only does it remind me that I am STILL married but also of the increase in debt I am accruing the longer this goes on.
10. Cramps. I will not go into this further other than to voice my wonder as to WHY they are necessary… I mean C’MON!!!
11. Creating the plan to go to Sea World’s Aquatica. I truly have no desire to mosey around a water park in my bathing suit. No one wants to see that.
12. Waiting for payday to be able to put gas in the car. I swear I didn’t think I was going to make it to the gas station once I DID get money.
13. Realizing that I easily came up with this list and it’s only Thursday
What will the last 2 days of my week hold for me???
